MODULE 7 - LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

For module 7, we used Google Classroom, a learning management system (LMS), to create an online component to assist in the way we teach our future classes. Included in my Google classroom is a course syllabus, announcements to my students, and a couple of review questions that are meant to look as though I've been asking them over the course of the semester.

I think that using a LMS is an effective way to help both teachers and students stay organized over the course of the term, and teaches students to take control of staying on top of their work. As well, it also helps to prepare grade 12 students for university, where use of LMS is extremely common.

Although this isn't an active online classroom, please use the online code to the right, and join my classroom in Google with your university gmail account! When you arrive at Google Classrooms, it will initially tell you that this classroom cannot be found, and will send you to look through existing classrooms that you are members of. When you come to this page, press the '+' in the top right hand corner, select 'join class', and to enter my code to become a member student.
