For module 4, we used digital posters to share our knowledge and explain either citation styles or Copyright. 

We were given a few options on how we'd like to present this information - we could have used PosterMyWall, Easel.Ly or Lucid Press. I chose to create my digital poster using Easel.Ly, and to create a poster on proper citing - specifically, proper APA citing. 

Since I'll be a science and health science teacher, the APA format for citing is the format I'll be asking my students to use for their assignments in the future, and is the citation style that I am most familiar with. This poster is geared towards secondary students, specifically those in grades 10-12. Coming into university, I had little experience with citing, and struggled with it in my first year. I want my students to enter university feeling confident that they know how to cite other people's ideas and knowledge, so that they have one less thing to worry about as they make the big transition from high school to university.
